  • Supergroup Diamond Rugs showcase talented musicians from many well known bands. They are comprised of singer/songwriter John McCauley and keyboardist Robbie Crowell of Deer Tick, guitarists Ian St. Pe of The Black Lips and Hardy Morris of Dead Confederate, as well as Steve Berlin of Los Lobos and Bryan Dufresne of Six Finger Satellite. Both teams take on UA- Fort Smith in the final Heartland Conference double header of the season starting at 1pm this Saturday. Bell's Amusement Park

Bell’s Amusement Park is returning! At least that’s what owner Robbie Bell has been working on over the past few years and now an actual reopening sometime in the near future seems surer than ever. Since Bell’s was forced to close its doors in 2006, Bell has been trying to find ways to drum up the money and support to reopen the park in its former glory.

For the past few years he has slowly been constructing a much smaller scale version of the park on the 16 acre property of Swick’s Flea Market in Tulsa. Each new ride being setup brings more customers to the property where they hope to soon start assembling some of the classic larger ride like the Tilt-A-Whirl, Scrambler, and of course, the Zingo.

Future plans include a water park and year round indoor amusement facility. However, for now, visitors can enjoy the selection of children’s rides currently available to support Bell’s and lead to more rides being built down the road.
